ChillSpace is the placebo social media platform - it works differently to normal apps.
Most social apps owe their addictiveness to the 'variable reward' phenomenon - simply put, some posts make you happy, some posts make you sad, some posts make you angry.
When you see sad, boring or angry posts, you keep scrolling until you are happy. And when you are happy, you keep scrolling so you can 'see more good posts' but you'll end up seeing bad ones again, trapping you in the cycle. This 'variable reward' concept is the same reason gambling is addictive.
At ChillSpace, you know what you are going to get. All posts are designed to make you happy. Even the 'debates' are just poking fun at social media. And with consistent happy posts comes satisfaction.
So you can get on with life, freely.
