List of Dopamine Sites — Privacy, Ads & Analytics Deep Dive
What each dopamine site collects, whether they run ads, and what analytics they use.
Last updated: October 2, 2026
Dopamine sites are fake storefronts, delivery apps, and social simulators designed to give you the thrill of consumption without the spending. They mimic the rituals of SHEIN, Uber Eats, Instagram, and Amazon — but nothing is real, nothing ships, and no money changes hands.
What most coverage misses is the trade-off happening behind the scenes. Many of these sites are free to use, which means they need to make money somewhere. That usually means ads, analytics, and data collection. Some dopamine sites are remarkably privacy-first. Others are not.
This page breaks down exactly what each site does with your data, whether they run ads, and what analytics they use. We've kept the same list as our original guide — no new entries — but added the privacy detail that was missing.
A note on our own site:
ChillSpace does not collect any data. Not even a hit counter. Cloudflare collects essential data to host the site, but ChillSpace ourselves collect absolutely nothing. The Android app works without internet, so not even Cloudflare gets any data when you use the app. ChillSpace does not contain ads.
ChillSpace Family (Internal Sites)
These are built by the ChillSpace team. They are the most privacy-forward sites on this list because they were designed that way from the start.
What it is: A calm, text-based social simulator that replaces Facebook and X. No algorithmic noise, no endless scroll — just a feed designed to satisfy rather than addict.
Privacy
Collects nothing. No account required, no email, no name, no phone number. All user-generated content (posts, comments, likes, display names, messages) is stored only in your browser's localStorage. ChillSpace has no access to this data and never sees it. When you share a post, the content is encoded into a URL that you control; ChillSpace does not store it on any server.

None
Google Analytics
None
Third parties
Cloudflare provides hosting and collects standard server logs (IP address, access time, browser info) as an essential part of serving the site. ChillSpace itself collects nothing. The Android app works without internet, meaning not even Cloudflare receives data when you use the app.
AI features
ChillSpace AI analyses post text entirely in your browser using local logic and the Web Speech API. No data is sent to an external AI service. If you choose to send a message to ChatGPT via ChillSpace Messages, that opens the ChatGPT website and you become subject to OpenAI's privacy policy.
Privacy rating
★★★★★
Verdict: The strongest privacy posture on this list. No data collection, no ads, no analytics, no tracking.
What it is: A mindful short-form video alternative to TikTok, Shorts, and Reels. It encourages intentional viewing over compulsive scrolling.
Privacy
Part of the ChillSpace family and follows the same data practices. No account required, no personal data collected on servers. All interactions happen locally in your browser.

★★★★★
Verdict: Same privacy-first approach as ChillSpace. No ads, no tracking.
What it is: A simulator that mimics the SHEIN shopping experience — browse, add to cart, checkout — without any real purchases or financial consequences.
Privacy
Part of the ChillSpace family. No real payment is processed, no card details are stored, and no personal data is collected on servers. Your cart and browsing activity stay in your browser's localStorage.

Verdict: You get the dopamine hit of SHEIN without the spending or the data collection.
What it is: A simulator for ordering vinyl records. Once you "receive" your record, the site plays real music with a spinning record animation.
Privacy
Part of the ChillSpace family. No real orders are placed, no payment information is collected, and no personal data is stored on servers. Your selections and preferences are stored locally in your browser.

Verdict: No ads, no tracking, no data collection. Just fake vinyl and real music.
What it is: A parody online store where nothing is sold and nothing ships. You browse products, add them to a fake cart, complete a simulated checkout, and watch your order "disappear." It's operated by Fenwick Holdings LLC (United States).
Privacy
Dopamine Shop collects less than a typical e-commerce site because there is no real commerce. It does not ask for or store your real name, shipping address, phone number, payment card details, or bank information. The checkout is entirely simulated — no payment is requested, processed, or stored. Your fake cart, "almost-spent" total, sound and language preferences, and game progress are stored locally in your browser (localStorage). This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to Dopamine Shop unless you join the leaderboard. If you create a leaderboard account, they store only your chosen username and a securely hashed password — no email address, no real name, no payment details. Your username and fake "almost-spent" total appear on the public leaderboard. You can request deletion at any time.
Ads
Yes — supported by advertising and uses Google AdSense to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info. For EEA, UK, and Switzerland visitors, a consent message is shown before any personalized advertising cookies are set. You can decline personalized ads and still use the site.
Google Analytics
No — uses a lightweight, self-hosted analytics script to count page visits and clicks on the site's own promotional banners. This is not Google Analytics — it's a first-party script that does not build advertising profiles. Some banners on the site promote their own other projects; these are labeled "sponsored" and do not use tracking cookies.
Data retention
Local browser data can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's site data. To delete a leaderboard account, you can email [email protected] and they will remove the username, password hash, and associated scores.
Privacy rating
★★★★☆
Verdict: More transparent than most. It uses Google AdSense (which means ad tracking) but is clear about what it collects and what it doesn't. No real payment data is ever collected. The self-hosted analytics script is a privacy-friendly alternative to Google Analytics.
What it is: A fake food delivery app that mimics the entire ordering process — browse restaurants, add dishes to cart, enter delivery details, track a virtual driver — but the food never arrives. Instead, you get a virtual receipt tallying the money and calories you saved.
Important update: The web version (음식만안와요.com) has been discontinued. The service now operates exclusively as an Android app on Google Play. The site currently displays a message: "음식만안와요 웹 버전 서비스가 종료되었습니다" (The web version service has ended). All future use is through the app.
Privacy (app)
FoodNeverArrives does not require account registration or login. It uses Google Firebase (Firestore) to store certain data on its servers, but only the following:
Order history and achievements: The menus you selected, prices, delivery method, time, etc., from demo orders. This is linked only to an anonymous identifier that contains no real name, email, or other identifying information. It is not visible to other users.
User-submitted restaurant/menu information: If you use the "Add My Restaurant" feature, the name, description, price, and photos you submit are stored and visible to all users. Inappropriate content is hidden automatically after accumulating reports.
Critically, the name, address, and contact information you enter during the order process are not sent to or stored on any server — they remain only on your device and disappear when you refresh or close the app. The Android app may use Google Play Integrity (Firebase App Check) to verify that requests come from a legitimately distributed app. This is not used to identify you or your device.
Ads
Yes — the web version could display ads through Google AdSense. The Android/iOS app versions may display interstitial ads through Google AdMob. Ads appear with a certain probability when the app launches. AdMob may use advertising identifiers (Android Advertising ID, iOS IDFA) for ad personalization. On iOS, the app requests App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission before using advertising identifiers; if you decline, you can still use all other features.
Google Analytics
No — FoodNeverArrives does not appear to use Google Analytics. It uses Firebase for data storage and AdMob for ads, but no evidence of Google Analytics was found.
Third parties
The web version was hosted on Vercel, which automatically collects server access logs (IP address, access time, browser information) as part of normal operation. Order history, achievements, and user-submitted content are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore). Ad display involves communication with Google AdMob. Firebase's privacy practices are governed by Google's Firebase Privacy Policy.
Children
The service does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14.
Privacy rating
★★★☆☆
Verdict: More complex privacy picture than the ChillSpace family. It does store some data on servers (Firebase), and the app displays ads via AdMob which can use advertising identifiers. However, the most sensitive data (name, address, contact) never leaves your device. The anonymous identifier design is a reasonable privacy compromise.
What it is: A Reddit-style social network where only AI agents can post and interact. Humans are "welcome to observe." It was created by Matt Schlicht (of Octane AI) and quickly gained attention as a novelty — and then controversy over security issues.
Privacy
Moltbook is a public platform. Its privacy policy confirms it relies on third-party infrastructure, including Supabase (database/auth), Vercel (hosting), and X/Twitter (OAuth). In early 2026, a major security flaw was discovered: researchers found a misconfigured Supabase database that exposed API keys, login tokens, private messages, and email addresses of over 6,000 users. Cloud security firm Wiz accessed the production database and tens of thousands of email addresses within minutes of testing, without authentication. Moltbook is not intended for users under 13. The platform implements industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), secure authentication, and access controls, but the exposed database incident raises serious questions about their implementation.
Ads
Yes — Moltbook uses cookies and third-party providers, including Google AdSense, to display advertisements. A cookie consent banner indicates: "This site uses cookies to measure audience (Google Analytics) and display advertisements (Google AdSense)." Users can consent to analytics cookies by clicking "Accept All."
Google Analytics
Yes — Moltbook explicitly states that it and its third-party providers, including Google Analytics, use cookies and similar technologies for data analytics. The cookie consent banner mentions Google Analytics for audience measurement. Users can opt out of Google Analytics tracking via Google's opt-out mechanism.
Privacy rating
★★☆☆☆
Verdict: The second weakest privacy posture on this list. Moltbook is ad-supported, uses Google Analytics, and has suffered a significant data breach that exposed private user data. If you use Moltbook, assume that anything you share — even via "private" messages — could become public. The platform itself acknowledges the reliance on third-party infrastructure that has already proven vulnerable.
What it is: Another fake shopping simulator in the dopamine-site trend. It describes itself as "a real store where nothing costs anything" with "17,000+ real products" and "37 categories." You browse, fill a cart, and check out — but no payment is taken and nothing ships. It offers a leaderboard, daily challenges, achievements, streaks, and even a fake food delivery simulator called FoodDash.
⚠️ Warning: This site collects far more data than most dopamine sites.
Unlike the ChillSpace family or even dopamine-shop.com, DopamineShop.co's privacy policy describes extensive behavioral tracking and future data sharing with marketing partners. Read the full privacy policy at dopamineshop.co/privacy before using the site.
Privacy
DopamineShop.co collects significantly more data than other fake shopping simulators. According to its privacy policy, it collects:
Session data: A random session ID generated in your browser
Device data: Browser and device type, screen size, timezone, language, and country (but not city or precise location)
Behavioral data: Pages you visit, products you view, what you add to cart, and how far you scroll
Google sign-in data: If you sign in with Google, it collects your name, email address, and profile picture
Fake order data: The delivery address you enter (so it can show a "full fake shipping experience") and the items in your cart
Referral data: Referral source and UTM campaign parameters if you arrived via a link
The site explicitly states it collects this data to "potentially share anonymized behavioral data with third-party analytics and marketing partners in the future." This is a significant data-sharing arrangement that goes beyond what most dopamine sites do. Data retention periods: session data for 90 days, account data until you delete your account, and order data for 2 years.
Ads
Yes — the site is described as "free, ad-supported" in media coverage. It also states it may share behavioral data with "marketing partners," which suggests data-driven advertising beyond simple ad serving.
Google Analytics
Likely — the privacy policy references sharing data with "third-party analytics and marketing partners." While it does not explicitly name Google Analytics, the described data collection (scroll depth, page views, product views) is consistent with comprehensive analytics tracking. The terms of service also state: "We collect browsing data to improve your experience and may share it with analytics partners."
Data retention
Session data: 90 days. Account data: Until you delete your account. Order data: 2 years. To request deletion, email [email protected].
CCPA
The site offers a "Do Not Sell My Data" option for California residents (and anyone else who wants to opt out of behavioral data sharing with third parties).
Privacy rating
★☆☆☆☆
Verdict: The most concerning privacy posture of any site on this list. DopamineShop.co collects extensive behavioral data — including scroll depth — and explicitly plans to share it with third-party marketing partners. While the ChillSpace family collects nothing and dopamine-shop.com collects a little more, DopamineShop.co behaves more like a surveillance-driven ad platform than a harmless fake shopping simulator. If you value your privacy, avoid this site or at minimum use it in a private browsing window and never sign in with Google.

What This Means for You
If you want zero data collection: Stick to the ChillSpace family. ChillSpace, ReelSpace, ChillSpace Shop, BuyVinyl, and Number collect nothing, have no ads, and use no analytics. The Android app doesn't even need the internet.
If you're okay with ads but want transparency:Dopamine Shop (dopamine-shop.com) is a reasonable choice. It uses Google AdSense (which means ad tracking cookies), but it's clear about what it collects, it doesn't use Google Analytics, and it never touches real payment data.
If you're concerned about data breach risk: Avoid Moltbook, or at minimum treat everything you share there as potentially public. The platform has already exposed private messages and email addresses of thousands of users.
If you value your privacy: Avoid DopamineShop.co. It collects extensive behavioral data — including how far you scroll — and plans to share it with third-party marketing partners. If you must use it, use a private browsing window and never sign in with Google.
If you use FoodNeverArrives: The app stores anonymous order data on Firebase and shows ads via AdMob. Your name, address, and contact information stay on your device. If ad tracking concerns you, decline the ATT prompt on iOS — the app still works.
